Dark Skies of Tor Bay

Meet at Seawind Landing Country Inn at dusk (8:30 pm).

On this experience, we review star and moon charts at the Inn and then go outside to explore the night sky. There we learn about the constellations, and depending on the date, spend time looking at the moon or planets by telescope and binoculars. This is a chance for you to truly appreciate and learn about the night sky and nocturnal wildlife while looking over beautiful Tor Bay. Stephen also has stories he can share about astronauts and exoplanet scientists he has met. While looking at the heavens, we will have soft background music suitable for the occasion.

Bring good footwear (sneakers are fine), layers of clothing, rain coat, and an inquisitive mind. Now you’re ready for a celestial adventure!
