Lighthouses And Lite Hikes

This experience will have us understand what it was like to live along the coast as a lighthouse keeper. We explore the coast, dropping into coastal ponds and walking along trails through knotted forests, all the while exploring how people then and now make a living from the sea. Then we spend time in a lighthouse, learning about the history of the site and its’ keepers. Seafaring history and nature appreciation combine in our explorations and in our artistic moments with water colours and writing. Here we explore nature, art, past and present; embracing life on the shore and sea.

Bring good footwear (sneakers are fine), layers of clothing, rain coat, rubber boots (if you have them), and an inquisitive mind. Now you are ready for a light adventure!
